These are the Angus Kilts (“us”, “we”, “our”) terms and conditions applicable to the browsing of the Angus Kilts site (“this site”, “this website”, “our site”) (www.anguskilts.co.uk and all of its pages and sub-pages) or purchasing goods advertised on this site. By browsing or purchasing from this site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept these terms and conditions, you should cease browsing this site.

It states the lawful basis upon which we collect personal data relating to you, in order to fulfil your order or to communicate with you about your order. Our site is secure and our payment page is secured by Stripe Inc. We take privacy and security seriously and at all times protect your data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act (2018) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). We only use use information for the defined purposes and limit our use of your data to that which is required to fulfil your order(s). We will never pass your data to a third party, nor will we use it for unsolicited marketing.


All images and any other content on this website belong exclusively to, and are the intellectual property of, Angus Kilts or its supplier(s). This includes photographs, text, images, logos, video or trademarks, whether or not registered. No content on this site may be re-used, copied, distributed, modified or posted in any way or in any form without the explicit written consent of Angus Kilts. Angus Kilts will pursue any person or entity who breaches this condition to obtain redress. We will also pursue for redress where derogatory, untrue or defamatory statement or images are created, published or in any way disseminated which names Angus Kilts.

Our rights

Angus Kilts reserves the right at any time to modify, withdraw or change any content within this site or to withdraw access to this site, either on a temporary or permanent basis.


Visibility of products within this site (images, descriptions, prices etc.) does not constitute an offer to sell. The presence of such product information is an invitation to you to offer to purchase.


You agree to submit to the legal jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland in the event of any legal dispute arising from the use of this site. Any contract resulting from your use of this site will be governed only by Scottish Law.


You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs or legal fees which are the result of you breaching any of these terms or conditions. This includes the outcome of any other person impersonating you while using this site or by making unauthorised purchases using your personal data or financial information. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancellation and Returns

You agree to ensure that all of the information you provide us with when making a purchase is accurate and a true representation of what you want. We will not be held liable in the case of a product that has been made according to your specifications, but does not fit due to incorrect measurements being provided, weight gain or weight loss. When you place your order we will review the information you have supplied us with. If you inform us that you wish to cancel your order or any part thereof before the time that your order has been placed with our supplier, meaning that fabric has not been cut, we may provide you with a full refund. We also reserve the right to withhold a fee to cover administration costs, at our discretion. Once your order has been placed with the mill (our supplier), your order cannot be cancelled. We will make best endeavours to accommodate any request to cancel at this point but make no warranty in this respect. Note that bespoke products are exempt from the terms allowing cancellation and full refund within 14 days under the Distance Selling Regulation. 

In the unlikely event that your product(s) fail(s) to arrive with you, should you contact us we will conduct an investigation. Should be product(s) be irretrievable we will endeavour to replace it or to refund you in full. You agree that in this case, you will subsequently return any product previously deemed to be lost, to Angus Kilts. 

In the unlikely event that any of our products are defective, we will make best endeavours to rectify this for you. All of our products are subject to stringent quality control checks throughout the manufacturing and despatch process. Every case will be dealt with on an individual basis and at the discretion of Angus Kilts.

You accept that you are responsible for the secure delivery of any goods returned to Angus Kilts and they must be received by us in the condition in which they were sent to you.

Any kilt which has had its basting stitches removed cannot be returned to us.

Taxes, Customs and Duties

You accept that you are responsible for any and all import or customs taxes, duties or surcharges which are incurred within your country as a result of our products being sent to you. Angus Kilts is not currently UK VAT registered, therefore products sold by us, globally, have not been subject to UK VAT.
